Stage 21 - Sunday, July 24: Corbeil-Essonnes - Paris Champs-Élysées, 144 km
This is the final stage for Tour de France 2005, as well as the final run for Lance Armstrong. Some of superstars in professional sports does retire a couple of times in their career... so will this really be the final for him?

Stage 19 - Friday, July 22: Issoire - Le Puy-en-Velay, 153.5 km
So this stage would be for riders who want a one day fame. Sprinters would also try to cash in some more points, but small hills after hills are tricky.
Next day will be invidivual time trial, so contenders will save some power in anyway...

Stage 18 - Thursday, July 21: Albi - Mende, 189 km
After the Pyrenees stages, the Tour goes over even another mountains - Massif Central in the middle of France. And this stage is for long escaper... in 1995, Laurent Jalabert won Stage12, after a long escape and climb over Côte de la Croix Neuve, finished in Mende - it was a memorable Bastill...

Stage 17 - Wednesday, July 20: Pau - Revel, 239.5 km
After all mountain stages are over, the longest stage is for long breakaway and sprinter jersey contenders.
There are 2 90-degrees corners just in front of the finish line, so if it's rainy or large group rushs to the goal....

Stage 16 - Tuesday, July 19: Mourenx - Pau, 180.5 km
After the rest day, this is the last mountain stage in Pyrenees and TdF, and it at least decide the mountain champion.
The focus is on Col d'Aubisque, the last Cat H peak that all contenders have to get over.

Stage 13 - Friday, July 15: Miramas - Montpellier, 173.5 km
In between Alps and Pyrenees, this is pretty flat stage so some young riders would try his one day fame.
The finish line is inside Stade de la Mosson - home of Montpellier club. The football stadium will be a Velodrome for the day.

Stage 12 - Thursday, July 14: Briançon - Digne-les-Bains, 187 km
On Bastille Day, the Tour goes south to end up Alps stages. While having series of peaks all over the route, who will try to break away? French riders should.

Stage 9 - Sunday, July 10: Gérardmer - Mulhouse, 171 km
