This is an updated version of the Irish rain radar for Google Earth which has been realigned for the southern Ireland and made more transparent to see the land in more detail. It checks for updates every 5 minutes though MET.ie currently only update every 15 minutes.

This is the real time dopler radar over Greater Los Angeles area. It does not "cover" up the entire area of your google earth map which is pretty cool.
