 | Ellsworth AFB is an Air Force installation roughly 11 kilometers northeast of Rapid City, South Dakota.
It is home to the B-1B bomber, and is being upsized due to the 2005 BRAC (Base ReAlignment and Closure) Bill. On a funny note, in 2004, some pilots from Northwest Airlines landed there instead of the Rapid City Airport.
