 | This tilt-rotor aircraft was built in 1982 and first displayed at the Dayton Air and Trade Show, Dayton, Ohio, 1989. The Skycat has never flown, due to design modifications yet to be completed. The Skycat is a combination of a turbine gyroscopic power system and tilt-rotor aircraft design. The Skycat was designed to serve as a close ground support aircraft.
