 | The F-101B was a two-seat all-weather interceptor variant of the Voodoo, and was numerically the most important Voodoo variant, with a total of 479 being built.
Picture included shows the F-101B on display at Peterson AFB, CO, whose markings represent the 4750th Test Squadron, Air Defense Command. (older picture because the newer picture didn't work. Website with newer pic included). | | 11/05/2006 | 241 |

 | The F-104C (Lockheed Model 483-04-05) was the tactical strike version of the Starfighter. It was designed to meet the needs of the Tactical Air Command (TAC), which had earlier found the F-104A to be unacceptable because of its low endurance and its inability to carry significant offensive payloads.

 | The color blends incredibly well with the ground (especially in this satellite picture). Also, the plane farthest to the left looks like it's wings got clipped. | | 10/21/2006 | 360 |

 | A plane landing at Keahole airport, Hawaii. I'm pretty sure this plane is landing because it has already developed the blue "ghost" effect, which comes when an object is traveling very fast. If the plane were taking off, the blue effect wouldn't be there yet, because the plane couldn't accelerate in such a short distance from the end of the runway. | | 10/17/2006 | 345 |

 | The Boeing 747 operated on a cargo flight to Düsseldorf on behalf of Emirates. After landing on runway 23L the airplane could not be stopped on the runway. It overran the snow covered runway, hitting the localizer antenna and some poles of the approach lighting system. The nr.2 engine caught fire and sustained damage. The aircraft was withdrawn from use at Düsseldorf until being scrapped there ... | | 10/06/2006 | 492 |
