This is the worlds largest open-cast coal mine, the long thin face is about 6 x 1/4 miles and the W shaped face is about 3 x 2 miles. To the north you can find GRES-2, a very large Coal burning powerplant and to the east of this mine you can see an incredibly long canal flowing south-east.
