Description: Located on the Paraguana Peninsula in northwest Venezuela, the Amuay refinery is one of the world’s largest and is capable of processing up to 630,000 barrels per day of crude oil. Venezuela supplies about 13 percent of the daily oil and oil products imported into the United State, much of which is gasoline.
