Description: Designed by Henry Ussher, Dunsink Observatory was buit from 1783 to 1785. It prides itself on being the oldest scientific institution in Ireland. Today it houses the astronomy section of the School of Cosmic Physics in the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
