FLAK TOWERS WERE EMMENSE CONCRETE FORTIFICATIONS USUALLY BRIMMING WITH ANTI-AIRCRAFT WEAPONS AND SEARCH LIGHTS.

FLAK TOWER ON LOWER LEFT CONTAINED RANGING EQUIPTMENT. USUALLY KEPT SEPARATE FROM GUN TOWER DUE TO CONCUSSIONS FROM ANTIAIRCRAFT GUNS.
