Description: Fort Peck is one of six multipurpose main stem dams which operate as part of a system on the upper Missouri River. Part of the famed Pick-Sloan Plan, the system is managed for flood control, hydroelectric power generation, navigation, fish and wildlife conservation, recreation, irrigation, public water supply and improvement of water quality.
