Description: The second "heavy" fortified pole in Lorraine partially modernized just before WWI. Some of these forts are now definitely anchored in memories (Vaux, Douaumont..) due to their heroic resistance accomplishing Verdun strong formula "On ne passe pas !" ("You won't get through")
