Description: Built in 1920 for the construction of airships. The famous R101 was built here and flew from here on its tragic maiden voyage. One of the largest buildings in the world - only the VAB at Kennedy Space Centre has a larger volume. Hangar 2 is now used for such things as film sets - Batman Begins was mostly filmed inside it!
