Description: The most readily-recognizable surface features linked to the Chicxulub Crater on the Yucatan Peninsula (associated with the comet/asteroid impact 65 million years ago that probably contributed to the extinction of the Dinosaurs) is this ring of cenotes (natural circular wells in the limestone). The placemarks are only guides - there are many hundreds of cenotes apparent in the satellite imagery.
