Description: This is a scale model of the solar system distances on the streets of New York that I used for a class. An inflatable ball with a circumference of 715 mm (diameter of 228 mm) served as the Sun, and was placed it on the 77th St. corner of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Each planet and planet-like object is placed according to this scale and also has specific notes, data, and link(s).
