Description: The salt mountain or also kali mountain is the kali stockpile in Neuhof-Ellers of the K+S Kali GmbH. It is also called in the vernacular "Monte Kali". The stockpile consists of approx 50 million tons predominantly sodium chloride and calcium sulfate and is thus one of the largest dumps of Europe.
