Description: It was here in a tent on may 4th. 1945 Field marschal Montgomery and Admiral von Friedeburg signed the german capitulation, and that had effect from may 5th.
After the war the britons build up a memorial but it was taken away again 1953 and brought to Sandhurst military academy.
