Description: Famous Dakota building at 72nd Street and Central Park West in New York City, perhaps (and unfortunately) best known as the 1970s home and 1980 assassination site of ex-Beatle John Lennon. Used in numerous movies, most notably as the location for Roman Polanski's adaptation of Ira Levin's "Rosemary's Baby."
