Description: The very low frequency transmitter in the middle of nowhere in the Saterland is operated by the German Navy and also used by the NATO for broadcasting messages for submarines. Each antenna is about 350 m high (ca. 400m at its highest point). For maintenance proposes they can be climbed with an elevator. They are the highest buildings in Europe!
They are transmitting at 23.4 kHz with ca. 800 kW.
