Busch Gardens, Van Nuys CA drawing overlay

Description: This is an engineering drawing of Busch Gardens, located in Van Nuys, CA. You may also know it by its later name of (as we employees called it) the double BS, or the Busch Bird Sanctuary. The drawing is dated 3-13-1975. Some remnants of the Gardens still extist, but they're mostly within the buildings. For the exterior, the bridge across the RR tracks, and the footing for the monorail on top of some of the buildings. I'm often asked why they closed it. It was because it really didn't make much money, and couldn't compete with the other theme parks, so the Gardens were scrapped, and the brewery expanded.
