Description: This amazing water hole in the desert is an abandoned Iron Mine just outside of Copiapo, Chile. Work had to be stopped and the whole operation had to be evacuated quickly because the drilling struck a large underground natural water source and the entire site rapidly began flooding. They say it is over 85 meters. deep and that heavy machinery and camp installations are still down at the bottom of this amazing man made (accidentally) mini-lake
