Description: This house, 1834 meters above sea level, was built by
Martin Bormann in 1937-1938 as a gift for Hitlers
50th birthday. Adolf Hitler used it for receiving
guests, but stopped visiting it after a while. After
World War II it was not destroyed by the US troops
while all Hitlers other quarters on the Obersalzberg
were.
Now it is a restaurant. You can go there by foot or by
bus.
