Description: 1976: This is the place where Larry Mullen, U2 drummer, attached a message on a board in which he told he was looking for other people to form a band... the brothers **** and David Evans (The Edge), Adam Clayton and Paul Hewson (Bono) answered... **** Evans left the band and The Hype were born. Paul McGuinness was looking for a band to manage and told them the name they chose was horrible, so they decided to change in something that had no meaning... so here are U2!
