Description: Khalifa International Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Doha, Qatar. It is currently used mostly for football matches and has facilities for many other athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 50,000. Khalifa stadium will be the main venue for the Doha 2006 Asian Games, and is part of the Doha Sports City complex, which also includes Aspire Academy, Hamad Aquatic Centre, and the Doha Sports City Tower. Full renovation of the stadium was completed in 2005.

The games take place between December 1-15, 2006.
