Description: Here is where Sheffield Wednesday FC play football in my home town of Sheffield, UK. This is where the incredibly saddening 'Hillsborough Disaster' happened on April 15th, 1989 that resulted in the loss of 96 lives. The match was an FA Cup Semi Final between Liverpool and Nottignham Forest FC's. Personally, this disaster is one of those times that indelibly marks itself as knowing exactly where I was 'when that disaster' happened, I was on my back yard, just a mile away, listening to the horror as it happened. This disaster marked a connection between the cities of Sheffield and Liverpool that will last forever.
