Description: The Almaty Tower in the Kazakh city of Almaty was built between 1975 and 1983 and is one of the tallest free-standing towers in the world.It is 371.5 m (1073 ft) tall; its 114 m metal aerial reaches 1000 meters above sea level. The tower has two operational observation decks at the height of 146 m and 252 m.
