Description: Every year hundreds of thousands of people go to Lourdes in southwest France to claim a hope of healing at the cave below the basilica from different illnesses or just feel the spirit of the holy Bernadette.
Bernadette was a franch girl who in 1856 should have seen a woman in white near the Grotte Massabielle. inside the cave is a spring that should have appeared after the sighting. This water the pilgrims believe it has a healing effect one day.
Bernadette died of tuberculosis in 1879 and became a Saint by Pope Pius XI in 1934.
