Description: These buildings on the island Sprogo in the middle of the Great Belt housed from 1922 to 1961 a girls home, or as some say a prison, for pregnant teen girls and girls who didn't fit into the way young girls should behave in that time.
Girls who were pregnant was forced to abortion and be sterilized. According to danish law sterilization by force was forbidden but that was the only way for the young girls to get away from the home here and comming to a "normal" girlshome at Vejstrup on the island Funen.
