Description: Aerial photo of the "Micro Beach" area of Saipan, at the end of World War II. This is the area which is now incorporated as The American Memorial Park. Note the many buildings within the current park boundaries, and in the surrounding Garapan area; the "inner cove" and "outer cove" marinas at Smiling Cove, and the busy harbor area including "Baker Dock" ship docks.
