Description: The Seepark Lünen is an 63 hectare sized parc in the south east of city of Lünen in Germany. The parc was build on the area of the old coal-mine Preußen.
Center of the area is the Horstmarer See, a lake with a size of nine hectare. The north side of the lake is used as a seaside resort. The southside of the lake is a nature protection area.
The western border of the parc is the line-section from Dortmund to Münster an Enschede via Lünen Central Station. The station Preußen is the next station to her
In the northwest of the park you can see the Datteln-Hamm-chanal with the old harbour Preußen. This harbour is today a marina.
