Description: USS Utah (BB-31), a Florida-class dreadnought battleship, was the only ship of the United States Navy to be named for the U.S. state of Utah. She was later converted to a mobile target and redesignated AG-16.
Utah (AG-16) received one battle star for her World War II service. In addition, the ship was added to the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1989. |
