Description: In Kassel Wilhelmshöhe you find a gigantic waterpark, the Kasseler Kaskaden.
When the waterplay runs 350.000 liters of water flows down in a difference of high of 80 meters. The totally length of 400 meters.
It was constructed between 1792 and 1793 by Karl Steinhöfer and begin at the Herkules tower on top of the hill.
From the Herkules is a 250 meters long stoneconstruction of watersteps.
From there the water flows to the Steinhöfer Wasserfall, Teufelsbrücke, Aqueduct and to the pond. |
