Description: This is a museum showing how the danish city Fredericia looked like on july 6th. 1849 up to the war against Preussen and the danish forces won. The buildings are scaled 1:10.
The construction of the mini-city began 1983 when the community of Fredericia decided to build a replica of the city as a respect of the brave danish soldiers.
The constructions today shows 700 buildings and the fortifications. 50 buildings were build every year but because of restoring the present ones the construction were delayed.
When all is compleeted there will be 1200 buildings.
The drawing house of the mini city contains a large amount of drawings, photos and measurements and constructions of new buildings are planned like building up a new building.
