Günther Jauch is one mof the most famous TV hosts in Germany. He hosts among others the german edition of Who wants to be a millionaire, Stern-TV.
He also makes advertisings for several products and companies, and a lot of this income he gives for charity.
His family tree goes back to the year 1606 when the first Jauch, Georg Jauch. He became mayor of the Thuringia city Sulza.
One of his descendants is Henryk Sienkiewicz (1846-1916), Polish novelist, author of Quo vadis and winner of the 1905 Nobel prize in literature.
Other relatives of Günther Jauch was Paul von Hindenburg (1847-1934), German Field Marshal and statesman.
