Description: The Chrysler Building in Manhattan, NYC. Designed by William Van Allen for Walter P. Chrysler and completed in 1930. It was the tallest building in the world for just a few short months until it was overtaken by The Empire State Building. The spire of the building, as well as the hood ornament gargoyles are made of German Nirosta metal. The lobby is made of Italian and South African marble and has a gorgeous mural on the ceiling celebrating "man's triumphs." The elevators are made of beautiful inlaid wood.
