Description: An abandoned fire lookout tower on top of Harney Peak. Harney Peak is the highest mountain in South Dakota, located in the Black Hills National Forest. The peak is the highest point east of the Rocky Mountains in mainland North America. The elevation of the peak is 7,242 feet (2,207 meters).
