Description: The Allen-Bradley Clock Tower, the world's largest four-sided clock, and located on the south side of Milwaukee. Each of its octagonal faces is nearly double the size of the more famous Big Ben in London. Each of the hour hands is 4.8 meters (15'-9") long and weighs 229 kg (490 lbs). The minute hands are 6.1 meters (20'-0") long and weigh 240 kilograms (530 lbs). Hour markings on each face are 1.2 meters (4'-0") high. Ships plying Lake Michigan often rely upon this lighted clock for navigation.
