Description: Bracken Cavern near San Antonio, Texas is home to the largest bat colony in the world. With around 40 million Mexican Free Tail bats living here it is also the most densely populated habitat by a vertebrate animal on Earth. This cave is another cave who's location is kept kind of hush-hush. Not only to protect the bats but to protect any unprepared visitor that should wonder in because of high CO2 levels and ammonia levels that exist inside. This cave is on a private conservatory property.
