Description: The Große Olympiaschanze (German for big olympic hill) is a ski jumping hill located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is named for the 1936 Winter Olympics which were held there. A world cup competition is held there every year on January 1, as a part of the Four Hills Tournament.
April 14th. 200 it was demolished and a new one is being build and should be compleeted for the new year jump on january 1st. 2008.
