Description: At this spot you will find the two observatories of Tycho Brahe (Danish astronomer 1546-1601) on the island Hven (Danish spelling, today the island is swedish territory and is splled Ven). Above the flag (N) is Uraniborg (castle and observatory), and below (S) the green domes of the underground observatory Stjerneborg ("Star Castle"). Uraniborg and part of the surrounding renaissance garden has been restored ca. 10 years ago, as can be seen. A new museum opened April 2005 in the old chuch, which is the building just left to (W) Uraniborg.
