Description: The fun Fyn family attraction focused on the sea. Here you can see the delightful porpoises – the only breeding whale in Denmark. Keep up with the latest whale research and find out more about the behaviour and anatomy of the porpoise. The seals in the natural harbour pool are also well worth a look, and these cheeky, entertaining animals are trained and fed every day – come and watch!

There are all kinds of interactive nature exhibitions packed with fun facts for you and your family. The aquariums are full of fish and sea creatures, and at the “touching pools” you can hold the crabs – if you dare! Don’t forget to “dive” down beneath the sea surface and walk dry-footed through the 50 m underwater tunnel. As you walk, you will see porpoises, seals, crabs and all kinds of fish in their natural habitat of seaweed, stones and sand.

In the summer, you can take part in exciting crab-fishing competitions. You can also take a trip on one of the Fjord&Bælt boats and find out what lies beneath the surface, when the diver returns from the seabed with sea creatures, fish – and great stories. If you choose a snorkel trip, you can put on a snorkel, mask and wetsuit and explore life at the bottom of the sea for yourself.

What is more, the Fjord&Bælt centre is now the only place in Denmark that gives you the chance to experience porpoises and seals right up close. On this interactive programme, you can get to know the animals and join the keepers as they train and feed them.
