Description: Brandts offers the biggest collection of exhibitions in one location in Denmark. Every year there are 25 changing exhibitons of Danish and international art, photographic art and media history.
In 2004/2005 Brandts was extended with a new wing and an entrance facility.
Brandts is set in an exciting area with museums, restaurants, cafés and a number of speciality shops, a music library, cinema and concert hall. Outside Brandts has a small concert arena, here the US singer Anastacia had one of her first gigs before she became famous. She was warm up for the italian band Eiffel 65 (I'm Blue)
On display: Pictorial art, design, graphics, art, photography, arts and crafts, paintings, sculpture, installations art, press history etc.

Brandts Klaedefabrik began in the mid 18th. century as a factory to dye fabrics. 1869 they began making clothes and that lasted until 1977 when the business couldn't compete with the prices from factories from Asia, Spain and Portugal. |
