Description: Beyond the famous K2 check out the sisters K1, K3, K4 and K5 - Thomas Montgomerie was the member of the team who designated it "K2" for being the second peak of the Karakoram range. The other peaks were originally named K1, K3, K4 and K5, but were eventually renamed Masherbrum, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum II and Gasherbrum I respectively. About the GE tour: Take a tour of the 5 "K" mountains including the most famous K2, the second tallest point in the world! We have added a photo of each peak in the end of placemark collection. Since GE tour option currently dont give an optimal (actually a very poor) view of pictures/photos during tour play, photos are default unchekked. Click after the tour on your selected photo to view picture in proper display and resolution.
