Description: The 4"/50 (10.2 cm) No. 3 gun from the USS Ward DD-139, which fired the first American shots of the Pacific War, sinking one of the five Japanese Ko-hyoteki class midget submarines that were attempting to enter Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941.
It is located in the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul, Minnesota.
