Description: This XVth century castle situated on the municipality of Tursac, has been modified in XVIIIth century.
It contains towers with crenellations and machicolation, a XVIIIth century dovecote with its two attached buildings, terrace with its breast walls and the remnants of a XVIth century convent.
Outbuildings are bounding the front-yard and a neo-Gothic building is attached to the castle.
At the first floor, in the oratory, we can see beautiful paintings on the wall to the left of the door and the corresponding vault representing the martyr of Saint Sebastien and God in Majesty.
Also can be seen an authentic kitchen garden of the XVIIth century. |
