Description: This is the hydropower station in Neufinsing.
It was built from 1921 t o 1924. They constructed a railway ("the Moosbahn") to conway the workers from Munich to the building site. This tracks kann still be seen near the dam that devides the reservoir (Speichersee) in two parts, but they are grown over with weeds.
This reservoir was built to save the water from the melting snow for drying time.
Its the first power station that has a museum for things that werde found in the reservoir and the attached channel, for example cars, motorcycles, weapons of WW2 etc.
