Description: "The Pirate Movie" was one of the silliest movies I'd seen when I first watched it. It was filmed in southern Australia, mostly around Melbourne. It stars Kristy McNichol, Christopher Atkins, and Ted Hamilton amongst other talented actors. (and wrestlers) The movie is a modern take on Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" and includes a few of the original songs along with some new creations.
The film doesn't take itself seriously and so the viewer shouldn't try to take it seriously either; just enjoy the silliness!
