Description: This is an long overdue update to the 2006 edition of the GE Meta Atlas. I plan to acquire and ISSN number for the Meta Atlas and update i yearly to reflect political changes or provide new sources. The GE Meta Atlas 2 brings together and updates an extensive collection of quality resources for each sovereign nation. Territories, protectorates and other non-sovereign locations are for the most part not included. The data sources include (when available): The Country's Government Mission to the UN, Flag, Chiefs of State, Cabinet Members of Foreign Governments, BBC Country Profile, US Department of State Background Notes, CIA World Fact Book, Library of Congress Country Studies, Diplomatic List of Foreign Diplomats and Offices in the US, Google News, Google Images, Human Rights Watch, World Trade Organization, and National TV networks. These sources have been picked based on their ability to provide several points of view, a stable website, quality information, and cover to a wide scope of country specific information.
