Several flying scenes for the 1997 movie “Con Air” were filmed at Wendover, using Fairchild C-123K Providers, one of which was modified into a nonflying “prop” mounted on a bus chassis. Abandoned following the filming, it now remains on the ramp as an attraction for visitors.
