Description: Luftwaffe airfield Halberstadt Germany. Lots of aircraft on the ground July 7, 1944 including a Heinkel 111Z or "Zwilling" glider tug. There were a total of 12 built.

Photo was taken by John S. Blyth flying a Sptifire MK XI. He was based at Mt Farm, UK with the 14th Squadron of the 7th PRG USAAF.
