For Freedom Museum

Description: The "For Freedom Museum" of Knokke Heist, shows the hard battle for the Scheldt estuary (say the Zwin Region) anno 1944 in an objective way by the collections of Freddy Jones and Patrick Tierssoone. <br>These collections are presented in a matchless setting achieved by Pierre Verbreyt who previously signed for the establishment of the Dead Man's Corner Museum in Normandy, France.

It was opened on November 1, 2008, the 64ste commemoration of the Liberation of Knokke Heist by units of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.
